At Clark BHF, everyone from the founder on down is deeply aware and proud of the opportunity they have every day to make a difference in people's lives—to help clients help themselves or a loved one get back on their feet again.
Clark Custom Educational Loans was founded in 2003 by longtime business owner and entrepreneur Shauna Clark. The company was the first to offer loan advisory services for the at-risk youth treatment market, including therapeutic boarding schools, military schools, and wilderness programs. Encouraged by adult treatment industry and service providers to fill the financing needs of their client base, Shauna added loan services for adult residential treatment and behavioral health services—and renamed the firm Clark Behavioral Health Financing.
In January, 2012 Shauna Clark made the life choice to spend more time with her rapidly growing family and to persue her many other entrepreneurial opportunities. When making this decision she had found two people she could count on to continue in the true spirit of what Clark stands for: passion, dedication and integrity. It was then that Lisa Nash and Chrissy Aresvik purchased the company from Shauna. With Lisa’s background in business, and psychology she adds an element of sincerity that only she can. Paired with Chrissy’s background in banking and accounting, this is truly a remarkable team that compliments one another in both skill and creativity.
Clark BHF is first and foremost an advocate for individuals and families, guiding them in finding optimal financing solutions with an unequalled level of personal attention, compassion, and responsiveness that recognizes the seriousness and urgency of clients’ circumstances.
“We pride ourselves on the ability to build relationships with the families we work with ‘We’re also an extension of the intake and admissions professionals’ teams. When they say, ‘call Clark,’ they know they’re handing their client over to someone who’ll give them the same excellent level of care.”
Offering families the best array of choices, along with the best possible advice and guidance. We’re committed to bringing as many financing options to all of the clients and industries we serve.
To expand the financial choices of our clients and provide the knowledge and expertise they deserve. Clark BHF recognizes that cost is a concern for everyone seeking enrollment in a behavioral health program. By finding affordable solutions for our clients, we minimize that concern—and help them establish new beginnings.
